Beth stayed an extra year to complete her master’s degree in Church music, and then we got married and moved to St. Louis so I could attend the seminary. Calvary Lutheran Church in Parma, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland is where we spent my year of internship. Our first call was to Timothy Lutheran Church in Council Bluffs, Iowa, just across the river from Omaha, Nebraska.
