Sunday Education

Sundays at 8:30 a.m. for children

What is “Sunday30”?

It is a program for children ages 3 years through 5th grade which takes place during the 8:30 a.m. worship hour.

How does “Sunday30” work?

Parents are to bring their children to the 8:30 a.m. service, as usual. After the song service, the children will be invited to the front of the sanctuary to participate in the children's sermon.

Following the children's sermon, “Sunday30” leaders will usher children, 3 years of age through 5th grade, into the Fellowship Hall.

In the Fellowship Hall, through dynamic music, skits, and video presentations, “Sunday30” Teaching Leaders will provide additional instruction about the bible message presented in the children's sermon.

Then, the children will be divided into age groups to participate in age-appropriate crafts and art projects with their “Sunday30” Small Group Leaders that will additionally reinforce the bible message of the day.

Following the small group time, “Sunday30” leaders will usher the children back into the sanctuary to be joined with their parents just in time to participate in communion.
